Equipment manufacturer to create 25 new jobs and invest nearly $15 million in Greeneville, Tennessee
NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Tennessee Gov. Bill Lee, Department of Economic and Community Development Commissioner Stuart C. McWhorter and John Deere Power Products officials announced today the company will expand its manufacturing presence in Greeneville, Tennessee.
John Deere Power Products will invest nearly $15 million and add 25 new jobs through 2025 in Greene County.
This expansion will allow the company to meet increased projected customer demand for the Z300 and Z500 zero-turn mowers.
John Deere Power Products is part of the Small Ag & Turf division at Deere & Company. The business was originally founded by John Deere in 1837 and engages in the manufacture and distribution of equipment used in agriculture, construction, forestry and turf care.
Since 2020, TNECD has supported nearly 40 economic development projects in the Northeast Tennessee region, resulting in approximately 3,400 job commitments and $1.1 billion in capital investment.
